General Summary
Under the direction of the SQE Manager, will assist to identify and qualify potential new suppliers. Plan, coordinate and administer the quality assurance program to ensure our suppliers maintain optimum quality at the most economical TOTAL costs. To ensure our suppliers comply with relevant regulations.
Job Duties (Tasks, Responsibilities, etc.):
1. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the quality system policies and procedures.
2. Assist in the development of control plans, inspection procedures, capability studies and sampling frequencies
3. Implement quality initiatives to attain and maintain customer satisfaction and focus.
4. Follow up projects
5. Facilitate between suppliers and internal customers as appropriate to resolve specific quality issues.
6. Conduct internal customer and supplier surveys to evaluate performance and to determine conformance to established standards. Modify deficient aspects of system as appropriate.
7. Provide technical assistance and training in quality to suppliers.
8. Following up customer complaints and lead the corrective action plan.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
1. Experience in end products, such as generator, alternator, pressure washer, etc.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Control management standards and procedures including Total Quality Management, and ISO/QS 9001, quality tools such as SPC, Design of Experiments, FMEA, APQP, etc..
3. Working knowledge of Geometric dimensioning & Tolerances.
4. Self Motivated, result driven /goal oriented with customer focus and sense of urgency.
5. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively work with a diverse group of people in a team environment,
6. Energetic and opening character
7. Frequent travel (50% as a Min.) is required.
8. Be able to read blue print, PC literate.
9. Good English skills (oral & writing communications)
Education Requirements (Degree and/or additional relevant training):
1. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience (Years of related experience):
1. Required having minimum 3 years experience in supplier quality assurance.
2. A plus for working in a cross function environment and /or in a global culture.
