POSITION

This position will report to Director of Manufacturing. Project Manager is responsible for managing new product introductions, current product transfers between US headquarter or Belkin regions and suppliers to ensure assigned projects will be delivered on time, on spec and on budget.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtain project requirements such as forecast, product specs, safety and sustainability requirements to create project timeline.
• Evaluate cost and time effectiveness to decide “In House Manufacturing” or “Outsourcing Products”.
• Coordinate and monitor product development from design, spec, drawing, tooling through packaging artwork with all required parties to ensure product spec will be met.
• Responsible to manage, monitor, coordinate new assigned project from US or other regions FASRs creation until FASRs close for Mass Production.
• Responsible to act as a liaison to resolve issues arise between regions, suppliers, sourcing, planning, purchasing, quality, production, engineering departments etc..
• Setup periodic meetings with all parties needed to ensure project progress meeting planned timelines.
• Provide project updates periodically and track whether milestones are met
• Create BOMs and FAS Forms for Agile
• Coordinate FASes with suppliers or internal sample production team, QC, SQA and customers/regions for FASes approval and obtain FAS and Reliability Test reports.
• Coordinate the “Certification Processing” with 3^rd party companies to ensure all required safety and sustainability certs such as UL, FCC, CE, MFi, REACH, A-Tick, C-Tick HDMI, USB etc. will be obtained in a timely manner.
• Coordinate Trial Run, review with production engineer to improve productivity for Mass Production.
• Enhance Belkin CZ’s “Customers Satisfaction” reputation by proactively accepts ownership for accomplishing assigned projects on time, on spec, and on budget.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
• Understand, follow and enforce all Company rules, expectations and regulations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or required by management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years solid working experience of project management in electronic industry and working at US based company is preferred.
• College or university degree is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual in conversation and writing (English - Mandarin).
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural organization.
• Result oriented aggressiveness in meeting commitments.
• Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and ability to work under limited resources support.
