Procurement

- supports purchasing organization to reach the set goals of SBU DT / HDC

- follow SBU DT procurement standards for all the daily work process, documentation reserve and data report

- is responsible to execute the following tasks in agreement with superior.

? Supplier sourcing / selection / place RFQs (As per list of approved suppliers within the specific material group)
? negotiate volume (secure capacity), prices, lead times, payment and delivery terms
? Check contract
？ issue purchase orders for PP programs before SOP (after project is handed over to serial production the team of supply chain takes over to place the delivery calls)
？ issue purchase orders for PE/PS parts required by daily operation or investment plan.
? Data up-date in system
? Claim management with SQA

- is responsible for creating figures and reports to superior (eg put together the monthly PP, PE, PS report for central procurement as well as daily tracking for PP, PE, PS)

- supports the work of supplier evaluation

- assures continues improvement of the procurement situation by him-/herself

- takes over other tasks assigned by superior

Quality:

- is responsible that the supplier keeps the set quality standards
- is responsible for the continues improvement process at the suppliers of the material group
- is responsible to support the suppliers in respect to ratio / improvement potentials

Interfaces:

- represents procurement as responsible person in meetings
- supports other involved departments as "purchasing service provider"
- supports optimization/processes which bring value added to HOERBIGER

General:

- supports cross functional working groups to reach the set targets of the board
- supports the purchasing director and purchasing manager to reach the set targets
- participates in qualification / trainings
- the definition of the responsibility can be defined by superior in cause of executing the tasks
