Position: Product Engineer

Main Responsibilities
1, Implement structural design for new products of air conditioning according to the design concept made by product team;
2, Suggest and work with design engineering to make improvements in the design of products to reduce cost, improve quality and manufacturability;
3, Understanding of injection moulding process, metal parts fabrication, solving common problems;
4, Make the draft files of the products for manufacturing.
5, Working with suppliers and contract manufacturers to insure processes are capable, have sufficient controls in place, can meet our delivery requirements, and meet our cost targets

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree with engineering background;
- More than 4 years working experience in product or tooling design;
- Familiar with injecting molding, and sheet metal parts fabrication;
- Excellent in using autocad and 3D software, such as Proe,UG or Solidworks, Proe preferred;
- Excellent communication in English, CET-4 or above;
- Strong hands practice and assembly capability;
- Good team work spirit and strong responsibility;

Krantz Smartemp (Changzhou) Air-conditioning Technology Co., Ltd, in collaboration with Krantz Komponenten in Germany and Krantz Asia-Pacific in Australia, designs and manufactures HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) air diffusion equipment, primarily for the Asia-Pacific region, but also for other international markets. Products include high induction diffusers, such as swirl diffusers for floor, wall and ceiling installation, as well as both passive and active chilled beams. Particular emphasis is placed on designing products that provide energy efficient operation and facilitate environmentally sustainable design solutions for buildings. Emphasis is also placed on designs that improve indoor air quality and provide enhanced comfort.
