JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work will include but not be limited to:

· Material Analysis and Characterisations

o Physical property testing of Chemtura and customer samples and new material formulations

o Chemical and thermal resistance studies of different urethane and competitive materials

• Material identifications
• Provide QC support for customers as and when needed by testing provided samples.

· Casting and Prototype Work

o Component casting to support the business application development efforts.

§ This will require the use of both manual and automatic processing techniques.

o Sample casting for dynamic and static property determinations

o Mold / tooling design and construction to accelerate development work.

• Process development with new materials to minimise customer waste and trials times.
• Run laboratory trials with new materials and technologies

· Customer component Failure Analysis

o Determine the reason(s) for customer component premature failures

o Support Technical service team to help resolve customer processing problems.

· Engineering Design Support

o Using mathematical models to help customers design new components for success and also determine reasons for lower than expected performance

• Other
• Prepare regular reports detailing experimental process, objectives and outcomes.
• Provide technical support / product demonstrations during team, customer or distributor training sessions.
• Contribute during team meetings and review sessions
• Work collaboratively with the ADC and other Asia Pacific team members.
