Primary Responsibilities

· Be the quality focal point for supplier activities directed toward process control and quality assurance of purchased Mechanical & Electronic products, work with supplier to establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and requirements.

· Lead supplier qualification and approval process, conduct factory audit and follow up audit with Sourcing, Technology and EHS team.

· Work closely with various functions of GE to conduct First Piece Inspection Report (FPIR), Quality Survey, and Process Capacity study.

· Solve quality issues of line rejects from the manufacturing sites, identify root cause and take permanent corrective actions.

· Work closely with GE Sourcing and Technology team to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may effect quality and delivery requirements.

· Drive continuous improvement of supplier's quality, cycle time, and delivery performance through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodology.

Qualifications Required

· BS Technical Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, five (5) years working experience in mechanical & Electronic, better to have basic knowledge of electronics.

· Strong background and experience in supplier Quality Assurance / Quality Control, interpretation of Engineering drawings/specifications, and manufacturing process planning/evaluation.

· Good English communication skills (written and verbal), analytical and problem solving skills.

· Ability to work in cross functional team environment

· Six Sigma Training / Green Belt Certification is preferred

· Be willing to travel
