Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities

· To provide, direct, maintain and develop a system, process and commercial leadership for the purchasing activities within Changzhou site.

· To work closely with the Regional Purchasing Manager APAC as to ensure that targets to optimise costs achieved in accordance with agreed business plans.

· To take the cost ownership CHZ site for all PR (Raw material, packaging material) spend and NPR (non-product related) spend in CHZ site, work together with AN SAMB (spend area main buyer) to ensure low PR cost and NPR cost in site.

· To work as a connection between Changzhou site operation and suppliers with issues relating to quality and delivery of PR and NPR purchasing. This includes negotiation with the suppliers on rejected PR/NPR goods and follow-up with the replacement, return and compensation etc. where applicable.

· To carry out the work process improvement within the purchasing function, as planned and agreed together with the relevant functions, in the drive towards continuous improvement, which include the continuous improvement requirement base on the requirement of TS 16949, ISO9000 and ISO140000.

· To manage supplier development which include on site assessment of new supplier, regular on site audit and also conduct regular suppliers delivery performance rating together with the related departments to support business requirement and continuous improvement.

· To compile monthly report on RPM index movement and develop monthly report to incorporate key highlights/summary/bottlenecks of major activities.

Requirements for Job

· University Education with bachelor degree, Chemical subject is plus.

· > 5 years purchasing working experience.

· Strong negotiator

· Exceptional interpersonal skills /organizational skills

· Good skill in Microsoft office (excel, PowerPoint, word)

· Good knowledge in ERP system (SAP)

· Analytical minded, hands-on and able to work under pressure
