1. Lead IT infrastructures in Novelis China.
2. Maintains the availability and operational support of the servers, telephone system, storage, local datacenter and network infrastructure.
3. Monitor and enforce the defined security standards by providing proactive security analysis, develop robust security architecture and ingrain security awareness and compliance to regional environment & corporate requirements.
4. Coordinate with all IT subcontractors including Network, servers and EUC (End user compute) etc to provide excellent IT services.
5. Work close with Asia and global IT infrastructure team.
6. Supporting global infrastructure projects roll-out in the Novelis China
7. Complying with global IT standards and policies.
8. Helping in terms of meeting departmental SLA, quality of services and user satisfaction.
9. Local EUC support.
10. Remote IT support for other offices in China.
11. Perform system backup & recovery, security and data backup, configuration change and control management.
12. IT support for other business teams such as automation team, reliability team, etc. in terms of hardware, database, applications, networking, security.
13. IT infra support for all projects.
14. IT assets management.


Job Requirements:
1. Has a passion to learn new technologies, good working attitude and positive mental attitude.
2. Has experience in LAN, VLAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, RADIUS, NAS, Router, Switches
3. Hands on experience in Cisco products, VMware virtualization, Microsoft Windows Server, Active directory, Microsoft Windows Client Support, Database.
4. Familiar with PC settings (Windows XP, Windows 7) in foreign company.
5. Knowledgeable and experienced in end-user support and service as well as infrastructure operations.
6. Good interpersonal communications, high level of integrity and organizational reporting skill.
7. Experience with automation applications is a plus.
8. Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
9. Around 10% travel will be required for this position.
