Responsibilities

1.Customer satisfaction

- Ensure accuracy of bill of materials, routings and other system data/parameters

- Receive & review forecast, PO from customers

- Communicate regularly w/ Buyer & prodn on matls availability, resources & capacity and define the prodn plan

- Load MPS in system and run MRP for materials driving

- Assess prodn schedule, revise when necessary, optimize run rate, minimize changeover & achieve target OTD

- Update & maintain the MPS as changes are identified in order for the MRP to reflect accurate & up-to-date info

- Run system reports to determine material shortages that need to be expedited

- Follow-up with Buyer to ensure materials are available to support production use per load plan

- Tracking production progress to ensure Build Plan is followed/achieved

2.Value creation

- Work with Engineering trying to optimize the production flow, review & finetune the batch sizes & setups

- Ensure Engineering Changes updated & reflected in the system promptly for matls transition & driving

- Conduct regular cycle count in the shop floor to maximize inventory accuracy & minimize disruption on the floor

- Monitor closely & control on excess & obsolete inventory and minimize exposures

3.People development

- Participate in training defined by the company and training to associates as required

- Participate in improvements projects and GPS initiative

4.Citizenship

- Adhere to government & company rules & policy

5.Other tasks assigned by the manager.

*Technical/Professional Training & Qualification

1. Good verbal & written communication in English

2. Advanced PC skills with emphasis on spreadsheet skills

3. Extensive knowledge & hands on experience on ERP system

4. Attentions to details

5. Knowledge of the Lean manufacturing tools like: Kanban, Jeijunka (production smooth ), and desirable in value stream map /Good understanding of JIT philosophy/ERP concept understanding and desirable experience on them

*Educational Requirement

3 years' College Graduate

*Experience Required

At least 3 years' experience in planning position

Planning in similar manufacturing industry is a preference

Extensive knowledge & hands on experience on ERP system
