该岗位要求7年以上铸件工艺工作经验,熟悉各类铸件工艺,有供应商开发基础,英语沟通熟练

I. POSITION PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for ensuring the right supplier selection / parts-supplier match and technical support for AGCO China and BCC export castings. He/she is a casting process expert with 7+ years of experience in manufacturing of a casting foundry, which allows him/her to identify the right fit suppliers for a part and provide necessary technical support during the RfQ-, development- and production-process (equipment, tools, parts, process). He/she will also teach suppliers and buyers how to improve manufacturing processes, develop tooling, specify equipment and improve supplier quality and cost, where needed. He/she will drive quality- and cost-focused Supplier Development projects to reduce waste at suppliers and improve their competitiveness / pricing, and support NPI and Commodity Buyers in their negotiations. He/she has worked in or with multinational companies with some knowledge in purchasing and supply chain management. Localization experience in automotive industries or agricultural / construction equipment is a benefit.

II. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY: KEY MEASUREMENT:

? Ensure the right supplier selection / part-supplier match
? Feasible part / supplier segmentation
? Provide technical support during RfQ and development process
? Pro-activeness and effectiveness in highlighting / communicating requirements and responsiveness in answering questions
? Teach suppliers and other buyers how to improve manufacturing processes, develop tooling, specify equipment and improve supplier quality
? Quality of training; understanding and effectiveness of input
? Drive quality- and cost-focused Supplier Development projects to reduce waste at suppliers and improve their competitiveness / pricing
? Achieved price level vs. best-in-class Cost Structure Analysis (CSA)
? Support NPI and Commodity Buyers in their negotiations by providing expert knowledge on should costs
? Negotiation results vs. targets



III. FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE:

The candidate should have in depth knowledge of

? Castings part
? Casting manufacturing process
? Process optimization
? Cost structure & management
? Supply chain management

IV. BUSINESS EXPERTISE:

The Technical Buyer has a strong manufacturing / process background, and has worked in or with multinational companies with some knowledge in purchasing and supply chain management. Localization experience in automotive industries or agricultural / construction equipment is a benefit.


V. LEADERSHIP/PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

The Technical Buyer has no direct reports, but needs to have strong communication skills, as he will be teaching suppliers and buyers.


VI. PROBLEM SOLVING:

The Technical Buyer has a problem solving mindset that allows him to detect issues and dig deep into finding root causes and helping suppliers to resolve them effectively. He is also able to find inefficiencies in manufacturing processes and help optimize them and reduce costs and prices.


VII. NATURE OF IMPACT

The Technical Buyer is critical to the success of AGCO’s China Operations and successful localization and BCC Sourcing plan.

VIII. REAR OF IMPACT:

The Technical Buyer has impact to both internal and external customers. Having lower costs will help improve AGCO’s profitability and gain a competitive advantage that also allows customers to enjoy lower costs and take market share from competitors.

IX. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

The position requires very strong interpersonal skills as he/she will need to build strong and lasting relationship with the internal cross-functional teams, as well as with suppliers.

X. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

? Strong manufacturing / process background
? 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a casting foundry
? 5+ years working in or with multinational companies
? Some knowledge in purchasing and supply chain management
? Localization experience in automotive industries or agricultural / construction equipment is a benefit
? Very good oral and written English
? Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
? Very good communication / teaching skills
