Responsibilities:
Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities
1、Knowledge of coatings production processes.
- Build and maintain production process knowledge and expertise in the process engineering team.
- Connect to MST Sassenheim, Process Bluebook and Communities of Practice.
2、Process improvements.
- Drive opportunities for process improvement and Process Bluebook implementation in the workshop.
- Advise production, maintenance, QC, R&D and planning to realize process improvements.
- Provide process related technical service to production
3、Product relocation and product development.
- Manage product relocation projects and product development projects.
- Execute process and product qualification with Product Development, Manufacturing and Quality teams for effective introduction to manufacturing.
- Set-up scale up plan, review safety, quality and production feasibility, select equipment for products in cooperation with planning and production
4、Reports.
- Conduct process Failure mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Management of Change (MOC) procedure for new and adjusted recipes and processes and write Production Release Reports.
- Maintain recipe administration in SAP.
5、Process engineering for investment projects.
- Organize feasibility studies, process technology assessments, and process design for investment projects.
- Support new equipment evaluation and installation.
- Support SOP design.
6、Supervise the team.
- Recruit, train and develop efficient and motivated team.
- Plan and coordinate activities in the team.
Requirements:
？ University degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
？ Experience in R&D, Process Lab or Production unit related to paint technology is required.
？ Experience in leading a team or projects is preferred
？ Good level in English speaking and writing.
？ Good communication skills
？ Pro-active, pragmatic and hands-on mentality
？ Excellent working attitude, engaged, accurate, to the point and proactive.
？ Basic knowledge to work with PC and applications (spreadsheets, text documents) to do reporting
？ Committed to safety and quality
