Description:The senior MCAD IT Support Engineer is responsible to build up the first level MCAD user support (Phase 1) and provide the MCAD second level support in China.
Requirements:
-Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable education
-Experience in usage and configuration of an MCAD system (preferably PTC Products)
-Good experience in 3D mechanical design
-Some knowledge in management of mechanical CAD data (preferably in Team Center or PDM-Link)
-Interest and some experience in a support position
-Very good spoken and written English (corporate language)
-Good communication skills,motivation ability,social competence, presentation ability, problem solving skills
-Extended Know-How of the PTC Pro/ENGINEER (Creo) product suite
-Understanding of Product Life Cycle Management concepts and their application in the areas of Mechanical Design,Bill of Materials, Document Management, Product change
-Ability to work with and make recommendations to system programmers from a functional user perspective.
-Ability to test system upgrades and bug fixes.
Responsibilities:
-Operation,configuration and support of the PTC mechanical application in China
-Build up first level user support with power users in the business areas
-Introduce future MCAD support Engineer for first level support
-2nd level user support and user trainings (MT best practices)
-Develop and maintain local user application documentation (MT best practices, user guides,maluals, training materials)
-Specialist to solve for location specific issues
-Coordinate local PC and server installations
-Communication between the global CAD/PLM team and local IT team.
