1.1 Managerial tasks
1）Coordinates (virtual) category groups.
2）Apply supplier relationship management for the respective category groups.
1.2 Professional tasks
1）Analyses GF AC’s regional demand structure
2）Performs procurement marketing to develop basis of decision for sourcing strategies
3）Defines optimization strategies and potentials (i.e. standardization, bundling, supplier concentration)
4）Implements in supervision defined strategies in coordination with Buyers
5）Monitors/ controls the implementation of purchasing strategies/ reports according to specified ‘reporting lines’
6）Monitors the regional supplier market
7）Negotiates contracts with Supervision (i.e. major suppliers, framework contracts)
8）Manages supplier contracts within assigned regional category groups in supervision.
9）Monitors/ evaluates and develops supplier performance
10）Maintains the GF AC purchasing information and reporting system, makes results transparency and manages purchasing activities result-oriented
11）Continuously optimizes purchasing processes/ systems in collaboration
12）Benchmarks assigned category groups in supervision (purchasing conditions, processes)
Keeps regular, intensive contact to internal and external interface partners in order to detect developments (market, requirements, …) and to exert influence accordingly
13）Follows interdisciplinary workshops/projects to be informed, to be able to interfere and to optimize internal processes and procedures
14）Play an overall leadership role to drive and deliver the result of supplier cost down initiatives and projects.
