Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in manufacturing major and rich experience in mechanical engineering
- Minimum 3 years production management experience, Automotive industry is a plus
- Several years of job experience in large series production, preferably in the automotive industry or large-volume production, is a plus
- Preferably experience in component manufacture and assembly techniques (metal products)
- Experience of TS/ISO 16949 and ISO 14001 is must
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP is a plus
- In addition to a written and spoken command of Chinese, English is must; some or good knowledge of German is a plus
- Clear thinking and strong problem-solving ability
- Experience in LEAN production is a plus
- Good communication and coordination ability
- Age: 30 – 45 years

General working description:

- Responsible for overseeing all manufacturing activities within the plant to ensure continuous and efficient production at a desired level of quantity, quality and cost. Establishes schedules and ensures effective and efficient use of manpower, materials and equipment. Manages and trains a team of production staff.

Duties:

- Establishes production schedule and targets to meet the requirements of sales orders;
- Coordinates with other function managers in planning and implementing manufacturing programs;
- Advises management on manufacturing activities, performance and results and recommends corrective action relating to delayed schedules, excessive costs, material shortages and other deterrent factors;
- Evaluating and improving manufacturing methods, layouts, equipment and techniques;
- Determines proper staffing and skill levels for the operation;
- Organization and monitoring of necessary maintenance of machines and systems;
- Responsibility for introducing suitable measures to eliminate quality defects, for performing Production Self Inspection and for continuous quality improvement;
- Manages and trains a team of production staff;
- Recruit and train production staff;
- Purchase operation materials to ensure manufacturing process
- Responsibility for maintaining ISO14001/OHSAS18001 system and ensure all the system requirements are fulfilled
