Responsibilities:
1. Implement process re-engineering and continuous improvement programs and provide technical support to the production team
2. Promote work efficiency, safe, increase production yield, reduce production cost and operational excellence of the plant and responsibility PCPS implementation.
3. Provide technical advice/support to the plant, trouble shooting on production process issues, identify root causes and implement structural improvement
4. Responsible for new product relocation manufacturing process, scale up manufacturing activities and trial batch production supervision. Ensure all manufacturing activities, Process Bluebook and MET programmes are strictly adhered to & executed
5. Implement production efficiency, designed work processes & work instruction and equipment optimization 6. Identify and implement process re-engineering and continuous improvement programs via statistical methodology such as TQM, Six Sigma Quality Control Technique
7. Train and coach production operator on process excellent. Nurture quality, safety, 5S and PCPS best practices culture in the processes as and when is required
8. Ensure that all production processes are adhered to or within the guidelines of Process Bluebook, in line with SAQ, ISO 9001, TS 16949, OHSAS 18000 and 14000 quality Standards
Requirements:
1. University Degree in Chemical Engineering
2. Preferably with minimum 2 years working experience in coating industry
3. A person with a strong analytical skill, great attention to detail, high level of persistence and willing to 'get dirty hands'
4. Positive attitude and a good teamwork player
5. A self starter and self propelling, with minimum supervision required, can work independently
6. Fluent in verbal and written English
7. Knowledge in statistical tools such as Six Sigma Quality Control Technique, SPC,CPK etc are added advantage
