Day to Day Responsibilities:

Provide regional reactor engineering supports for reactor delivery & process plant integration

• Work with Corning Reactor Engineering & Manufacturing in France, and coordinate with customers on PI&D validations for reactors and process systems designs if need
• Coordinate multiple groups and ensure reactor & auxiliary deliveries on time with high quality services
• Work with local suppliers and domestic design institutes for reactor & auxiliary integrations, and process plant design integration, as well as for other required regulatory implements

Lead effective customer project executions

• Run basic and advanced trainings on reactor operations and maintenances
• Perform reactor acceptance tests, build up dosing lines, and integrate with the auxiliaries
• Conduct reactor demo and/or customer reaction trials, and support customers for the success of reactor applications in pilot, and in industrial productions
• Provide customers after-sales & long-term reactor engineering supports
• Maintain and continuously improve reactor auxiliaries and their sourcing

Others

• Support regional feasibility testing and process development activities in Corning application labs
• Support regional sales and marketing activities (tradeshows, customer visit, and customer presentations etc.)
• Other tasks assigned by manager

Project involved with:

• Application engineering teams in the region and in France
• Reactor engineering team in France
• Commercial and marketing teams in the region

Education & Experience

• Bachelordegree (with 7-10year experience) or masterdegree (with 4-7year experience) in chemical reactor engineering , chemical process engineering or a related fields
• Industrial process synthesis, plant reactor/equipmentoperation experience a must
• Experience in reactor design and process unit designs a must
• Experience with SHE, cGMP implementations etc., a Plus
• Experience as an process engineer, application engineer a plus
• Knowledge, experience with process development & operation in pharm-, fine-chemicals a plus

Required Skills

• Strong technical background in reactor engineering, process development
• Strong knowledge of industrial reactors, process equipment, and plant operations (start-up, shut-down, maintenance, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of chemical production project execution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in Mandarin are "must"
• Outstanding interpersonal, telephone, oral presentation skills are "must".
• Good cross functional team communication skill. Experience in multiple team work.
• Strong problem solving skills, and independent execution skills
• Ability / willingness to travel
