Position description:

This position is for a member of the Finance team in the ERP&MES domain of Saint-Gobain IDS (International Digital-IT Services) team. The mission of SGIDS is to provide best in class, costs effective, agile and personalized Digital-IT services to Industrial business of Saint-Gobain. The team develops, implements, and maintains IT solutions thus allowing the management of finance/controlling, purchasing, production, logistics and sales. 

The SAP FI Consultant provides business and procedural system knowledge as well as application expertise. He/she would be providing expertise on the application used in the functional domain of FI that includes all financial transactions and operational information to support business analysis and decision-making. The Consultant provides software and application solution expertise according to modules / products. He/she works primarily in the processes of Problem/Incident Management and Change Management to ensure existing functionality within the productive environment. He/she is responsible for his/her consulting delivery, quality and facilitates system audits. 

Specific duties Include:

1.Establish strong relationships with business key users and serve as their first contact on their finance processes, issues and advise on best practice with continuous improvement in mind

2.Liaison between various teams; technical, functional, programming, third party products and the finance community and be the face of IDS to them

3.Estimate the workload in terms of SAP customizing, development, training and documentation. Communicate effectively to the business the delivery plan

4.Work closely with the Shared Service Centers, helping them to support the Saint-Gobain businesses. Advise the SSC leads on SAP Finance best practices, process improvements and automation

5.Work on problem/incidents and change management through the Service Now tool by respecting the SLA, providing timely support to Finance users

6.Assesses the impact of business change requests on the existing architecture and support the prioritization of finance, controlling and costing related changes 

7.Provide direction and guidance on projects ensuring adherence to architecture and design standards of the Core model template

Required Qualifications:

? Bachelor’s degree in related field

? +5 Years of SAP Experience in FI module preferable in SAP IT consulting. 

? Strong knowledge on Finance processes, month end reporting, Group consolidation. 

? Strong knowledge on Asian Localization (Taxes, Legal books, Banks)

? Working knowledge of Financial accounting (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed assets, General ledger, Cash management)

? Experience to navigate effectively within a matrix organization

? Autonomous with a constant view of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction

? Excellent personal communication, ownership, team work and organizational skills

? Language: Advanced English required
