Job description:

1. To research industry standard such as SAE, ISO and develop new drawings from engineering data (mainly Pro E) and Gates internal technical standard as well as make revisions to existing drawings for prototype development/production following Gates drafting norms.
2. To establish and maintain engineering print database as well as associated ECN records.
3. To communicate and resolve drawing issues with other drafters/engineers from the Gates global technical team.
4. Any other tasks as assigned by US and Changzhou technical

Education and Experience

-College or Vocational Training on mechanical engineering
-Advanced knowledge of and have at least two years of hand-on drafting experience using Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4.0 in an industrial environment.
-Pro/Intralink experience is desirable.
-PDMLink experience is desirable but not a must.
-Familiar with Engineering Change Management concept and practice
-Must be able to read prints and instructions in English, Conversational English is desirable but not necessary.
-Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
