Education:

Bachelor’s or above in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Yrs of Experience: minimum 10yrs of experiences in manufacturing, automotive experiences will be preferred.

Certification: GB/BB, MBA is a plus

Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Leadership program, Project mgnt.

Position requires as production team manager, general manager, director of operations of plant manager with proven leadership abilities.

1. Ability of achieve immediate rapport with customers, suppliers, local union leadership, shopfloor personnel, and all levels of management is imperative.
2. Individual must be thoroughly familiar with manual manufacturing and engineering methods, JIT parts scheduling, Kanban system, TS 16949, ISO14001 and Six Sigma philosophies and techniques.
3. Individual must have experience in a high volume automotive components manufacturing environment.
4. Individual must be a familiar with variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures to include plastics and electronics assembly techniques.
5. Must have working knowledge of regulatory requirements in the areas of operations, storage, shipment and control explosive materials.
6. Experiences in the automotive field is required.
7. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
8. Excellent oral and written communications are a must.
9. Manage and oversee overall plant operations including but not limited to Finance, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, material, quality assurance/control, Human resources, environmental, health & safety, and information system.
10. Position takes recommendations to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency of operations.
11. Maybe required to meet certain certifications in field.
12. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan ad accomplish goals.
13. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
