Job Responsibilities
·Manage day to day manufacturing operations at our China equipment building facility, to include:
·Manage materials, inventory and manufacturing planning under direction from Wirtz US.
·Oversee Quality control to assure that manufactured components and equipment are made to correct specifications.
·Oversee Purchasing system to assure Qualified vendor selection, timely and accurate cost information using a job costing system which meets Wirtz US requirements.
·Liaison with the engineering department to comply with Wirtz US engineering standards.
·Hire, train and retain the most qualified shop staff for continuous quality improvement, cost reduction, meeting promised ship dates and meeting customer's expectations.
·Manage Shop leaders to promote a cohesive, productive workforce to attract and retain the best employees.
·Other projects as required and assigned by Wirtz US management.
Job Requirements
·Industrial Engineering and Managerial experience to include industrial manufacturing experience, organizational skills, and strong communication ability working with and directing a manufacturing operation.
·Manage employee hiring, development and review of status and progress to ensure attracting and retaining the best employees.
·Travel to Wirtz corporate offices as required for planning and organizational meetings and communication with Wirtz USA management.
·Travel to customer locations as required to understand the Wirtz product line and customer's level of satisfaction with products.
·Management of all Governmental requirements and environmental controls.
·Must have good English communication skills.
