Report to: R&D Manager
Department: R&D Dept.

Main responsibilities
o getting technical information on project from customer
o creating drawings for production
o determining required tooling and molds
o filling up RTS or similar customer required project information
o distribution of work to other designers
o making priorities to projects and following up on deadlines for completion
o communication with production department on technical details (ex. APQP)
o summarizing projects overview to report and discuss status with management


Minimum qualifications:
o Bachelor or Master(preferred) degree in mechanical engineering;
o Understanding fundamental mechanical processes;
o Understanding/experience of PPAP procedures;
o 3D CAD knowledge, Solid works preferred;
o Excellent skills in English both language and writing
o Interest and basic knowledge in Diesel engines;
o Excellent presentation skills to lead big Global customer meetings;
o Good communicative skills to handle internal Global organization;

Candidate can have preference if has any of these special advantages:
o Experience in automotive industry and leading team of people in project;
o Experience with making drawings of required tooling and molds for product manufacturing;
o Understanding of pipe bending, forming and negotiating tolerances;
o Experience in thin stainless steel forming and welding;
o Understanding of diesel engine emission reduction technologies;
o knowledge of Japanese language is a plus.
