Position Overview
This role is responsible for managing, leading and developing the Suzhou quality team, and responsible for the quality of manufactured products. Assumes ultimate responsibility for quality standards and quality control system, ensuring continual certification to ISO 9001.

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager this role will have below 4 main responsibilities,
1. Quality management. Assumes ultimate responsibility for quality standards and quality control system, ensuring continual certification to ISO 9001. Implements, enforces, analyses and improves quality control. Maintains process for supplier qualification and compliance. Ensures all quality checks are completed thoroughly and on time. Conducts regular audits.
2. Lead and manage the Suzhou quality team, and cooperate with Human Resource team to handle team management work.
3. Training and development. Creates an environment of ongoing training, learning and development.
4. Process Improvement. Analyses, identifies and implements quality continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.

Qualifications (It is better you have below qualifications)
1.Trade qualifications
2.Tertiary education in Engineering or Mechanical
3.Tertiary education in Business/Leadership
4.Courses in manufacturing/quality best practice
Experience
1. 7 years' experience working with sheet metal
2. 5 years' experience managing and leading workshop
3. Experience implementing continuous improvement projects
Skills and knowledge
1.Knowledge in quality control
2.Able to use and understand ERP and MRP system
3.Working knowledge of ISO 9001
4.Hands on mechanical skills
5.Ability to read and understand drawings
6.Coaching and mentoring experience
7.Change and Project management
