Scope of Job
Lead the quality team and in charge of overall development, implementation and maintenance of the organization’s Quality Management System, ensure that the product or service is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements.

Organizational place – process / function
Telecom Quality Manager works as a supporting function within the process to manufacture in Telecom Changzhou. The position is within Habia Cable China LTD and report to Factory Manager of Telecom Changzhou.

Responsibilities
- Supervision of the Quality Assurance function to guarantee full implementation of the Quality System according to the necessary Quality Standards from customers, internal, ISO 9001 & TS16949, and regulatory/legal requirements.
- Lead the quality team, supervision and coordination of the Quality Control activities, including receiving inspection, in-process inspection and final product inspection, ensuring that they meet requirements.
- Take full charge of all quality issues during whole production process.
- Coordinates the generation of CTQ sheets.
- Participates in definition of FEMA, control plan and inspection plans.
- In charge of SPC, GRR analysis and MSA activities.
- Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
- Responsible for UL, ROHS, REACH and the other product certification activities.
- Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality.
- Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products.
- Lead internal/external audit and management review base on company goals and KPIs.
- Provide technical feedback and reject analysis to the production personnel for early prevention or repetition of quality issues.
- Make sure all documents used in Habia Cable is valid and updated.
- Report to management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., complaints, rejections, results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
- Coordination of training activities of production personnel related to quality inspection.
- Supports interaction with raw material suppliers and generation of Supplier Corrective Actions when needed.
- Handing customers’ complaints, coordinates investigations, take corrective actions and communicate to the customers.
- Other tasks/activities as assigned.

Authorities
TC Quality Manager can make the decisions to be able to fulfill the responsibilities according to valid regulations within the Habia organization.

Co-operation and interfaces
- This document clarifies the main responsibilities and it shall not be considered as a limitation.
- It includes the assignment to co-operate with other functions within the Habia Cable group to obtain the best possible result from a comprehensive view.
- It is important to understand that this should not in any way interfere in the way we work together with other parts of Habia Cable.

Competence requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in cable or engineering is required.
- More than three years of experience as a quality manager or similar, in a manufacturing environment.
- Has proven knowledge of working systematically with improving quality and control the process, including SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP and PPAP. Green or Black Belt Six Sigma Training and Lean manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Familiar with TS16949 and other quality standards and its practical implementation.
- Knowledge of the use and applications of personal computers/software to the standard practice of quality control.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential.
- Ability to effectively interact with external parties including customers, suppliers and auditors.
- Good customer service skills.
- Leadership skills to conduct the work and development of technical professionals and staff.
- Skill in presenting a wide variety of training to diverse audiences.
