Mainly Tasks:
1. Evaluate offers and to issue orders
2. Use SAP concerning: logistics / material management / purchases
3. Support market-research and reporting (supplier development and strategy, technologies, competitors)
4. Support development of supplier pool, provide timely sourcing input to bidding
5. Support supplier qualification, development and supplier performance improvement
6. Support in diverse internal teams with the purpose to standardize and to localize
7. Research and pre-Audit alternative suppliers
8. Guidance of supplier in terms of delivery on time, in requested quality at best conditions
9. Active contribution to the process optimization
Requirements:
1. Knowledge of the market and the suppliers in Raw Material
2. Reading and comprehension of bills of material, drawings specs and/or other technical as well as commercial documents
3. Knowledge of contract conditions, as well as framework contracts
4. Knowledge with import/export procedures, esp. with inspection quarantine bureau favorable
5. Knowledge of the ERP systems (SAP preferred), especially with logistics, material management, and purchases
6. Proactive problem solving, self-driven personality
7. .Willingness to travel.
Qualification:
1. Mechanical Engineering background, commercial background with strong technical experience
2. 2~3 years experience in procurement of mostly standardized parts such as steel plates, fastening, pipes and tubes
3. Sound knowledge of English (spoken and written).
