Goal of Position
* Governance, management and coordination of manufacturing processes through 3 sections (construction /welding, machining, assembly);
* Active involvement in time scheduling and supply chain management;
* Management of personnel;

Main Functions :
* Defining, executing and implementing organizational structure and processes within all functional areas of production.
* Close cooperation with the other production departments of the * organization in order to enhance technological know-how exchange and best practice approaches.
* Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Leading and developing the production unit within * first non-European manufacturing facility by sharing a vision an guiding his/her teams through a technological challenge.
* Responsible for day-to-day production.
* Developing and presenting recommendations to the local management and the headquarters in Germany
* Provide guidance to team members and develop, evaluate and mentor staff.
* Applying a participative management approach which is necessary due to the complexity of products.

Qualifications:
* Minimum of 15 years experience in machinery production including disciplinary and functional leadership - focus on machinery and complex systems (almost job production)
* Issue solving expertise and conceptual and operational knowledge in production and manufacturing strategies within China as well as preferably Germany.
* Record of proficient relevant professional and academic achievements.
* Excellent analytical skills
* Effective writing and presentation skills
* Strong relationship building skills
* Creative problem-solving abilities / Out-of-the-box thinking
* Ability to create an efficient and integrating team environment
* Excellent command of Chinese, English
