FUNCTION (职能) (Explanation of the overall goal and responsibility of the position in the setting of our company)
The SAP Engineer will support the relevant SAP modules:
? MM (Material Master: Engineering, purchasing)
? PP (Production Planning)
? PS (Project System: Resource planning, DISPO)
? QM (Quality management)
? SD (Sales and distribution: Sales, shipping)
? He will organise and conduit the basic SAP trainings.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY & QUALIFICATION (工作职责与资质要求)
1．Tasks:（The area of responsibility includes in particular the following tasks:）
1) User support
The SAP engineer will support the user for every kind of problem related to the application. He will make sure that the problems are solved. In SAP field there is the Key-user concept (the end-user must refer to the key-user first only when the key-user can’t solve the problem it will ‘escalate’ it to the SAP engineer): the SAP engineer will be a super Key-user. In case he’s not able to support the user the SAP engineer will need the help from Europe. Every application / SAP Module has a responsible Person (plus back-up) in Europe. The SAP engineer must communicate with them. English is needed.
2) Manage the change request
The SAP engineer will carry on the Change requests from the end-users or the key-users. This activity is always supervised by ITL especially the evaluation phase. The SAP engineer must evaluate the request and check if it is *and * Changzhou standards compliant, the SAP engineer helps to find a suitable solution both for the business and for the technical needs. The SAP engineer may contact the relevant people in Europe for assistance in this phase. The SAP engineer will describe the change request and send it for approval to the process owner. Once the request is approved, the SAP engineer will assure that it will be realised. If the solution for the request needs the change of the customising it must be sent also to Europe for approval and later for the realisation. The SAP engineer may communicate with Europe in the realisation phase for some clarifications or tests. The final test must be done by the key-users.
3) Procure and/or test new features and/or applications
When new applications or modifications of the existing ones are needed locally in * Changzhou the SAP engineer will support the whole process (evaluate, choose, describe, manage approval process, procure, install, test, deliver, train, support). The SAP engineer must always assure that the new application or modifications are* standards compliant. . This activity is always supervised by ITL especially the evaluation phase.
The SAP engineer may need to test modifications carried on in Europe (for example OPUS) together with the key-users
4) Training
The SAP engineer will organise the training to the key-user and the end-user. Every new employee must be trained, the SAP engineer will give the basic training.
Sometimes the training will be done by external people or by * -Europe people. The SAP engineer should organise it.
Another duty of the SAP engineer is to keep up-to-date the user manuals or procure that the Key-user will do it.
2．Competences
1). Background
？ Major Information Technology / Computer
2). Knowledge/Experience
？ At least 2 years in field
？ Knowledge of SAP modules MM, QM, PP and PS
？ Knowledge of ViFlow
？ Knowledge of all the processes in MT Changzhou (and in *group)
3).Languages
？ Communication skills in English or German (listening, reading, writing) to communicate with colleges in Germany, Switzerland and Italy. For the support of the modules MM, QM, PP and PS Chinese is required as mother language.
