Position: SHEF Manager
Report to: Technicial Engineering Manager
Location: Changzhou Jintan 常州金坛

Job Responsibilities:
Safety of people
? Identify the training needs then train Autoliv’s and suppliers’ staff on time
? Communicate the rules and act for their application
? Coordination of ERT team and emergency exercises (ie: evacuation drill)
? Build and follow safety procedures (fire, evacuation, accident, disaster …)
? Create and drive a safety committee
Plans of action and periodic verifications
? Setting-up regular inspections for safety devices (ie: FAS, fire extinguishers, safety doors, sprinkler …)
? Monthly safety audit including outside, inside buildings, behavior of people
? Identification and classification of risks of accidents associated with action plan
? Elaborate and follow the safety plan of actions (Risk Management system)
Regulation and safety documents
? Collection, updating and classification of safety documents relative to facilities and buildings in collaboration with the Facilities Leader.
? Follow up of mandatory controls (local code). Be aware of outside policy changes.
? Respect of local and/or insurance code (more restrictive to apply)]
? Follow up of official bureaus (ie: fire bureau, environment bureau, …) and safety organisms
? Coordinate preventive action plan for every regular building supplier or one time works
? Gives agreements and follow fire permits with his team
? Elaborate and maintain MSDS documentation wherever it is needed
Facilities (electric substations, compressors, chillers, air conditioning, fire fighting system, buildings, ….)
? Setting-up regular inspections for facilities
? Integration of facilities in the computer aided maintenance system when it will be set up
? Setting-up risk assessments plans and operating procedures
? Training of other maintenance technicians
? Networks identification (gas, power supply, chilled water, …)
? Operational management of maintenance suppliers for facilities
Technical documents for facilities
? Respect of local and/or insurance codes (more restrictive to apply)
? Collection, updating and classification
? Development and updating of electrical diagrams and all networks on AutoCAD
Industrial works (such as new buildings, new facilities and production lines installation)
? Participate to tender documents for new industrial works: general design briefs, specialized design briefs for electrical works
? Supervise industrial works and validate the works according to the tender documents
? Initial validation of facilities equipment and installations with specialized organisms
Plans and drawings
? Elaborate and maintain the site plans (buildings, general lay-out, networks, ...) on AutoCAD software
? Production equipment lay-out is under the responsibility of PE department but must be integrated in general lay-out
Organization of the team
? Make sure production and customers’ needs are covered (presence on site or staff on call)
? With help from Operation or plant Manager, give objectives to the team, challenge then evaluate results
? Challenge sub-contractors.

Job Requirements:
? Must have Safety proven & Maintenance facilities technical experience (at least 5 years’ experience in a similar job, preferably in mass production and/or automotive industry).
? Must have proven experience of Chinese regulation concerning safety
? Must be used to work with international teams.
? Engineer graduate or technician diploma with a solid background in M&E and facilities
? Engineer graduate or technician diploma with a solid background in Safety and environment
? Knowledge of the car industry and requirements (quality, logistics, development cycles, projects management, costs) preferred
? Working knowledge of the safety risks (propellants, compressed gas, solvents, other dangerous goods)
? To be able to evaluate accurately a situation, analyze it, propose and put in place improvements
? Skill needed in construction, M&E, electricity
? High voltage certification and knowledge of AutoCAD software will be needed
? Fluent Mandarin
? Fluent (or almost) English
? To master the tools of human management
? To be able to work in team and to coordinate
