Specific skills:
- " Hands-on " experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to evaluate and debug process tooling.
- Ability to document process steps using photos and written descriptions.
- Experience training operators to follow documented procedures.
- Ability to qualify processes in a manufacturing line.
- DFMA training and application.
- English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of resistive welders - set-up, qualification in-process testing ( " pull tests ").
- Basic understanding of electrical testing equipment and processes.
o (e.g. hi-pot testers, TDR, VNA)
- Ability to establish relationships with tooling vendors and local machine shops.
Travel: Must be able to travel to the US for training.
Software: Must be familiar with the MS-Office suite - i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Experience with 3-D (SolidWorks / Pro-E) and 2-D (AutoCAD) drawing packages is
expected.
Education: Engineering degree with three (3) or more years' experience as process engineer
in a production facility.
Experience: Prior work in a connector manufacturing environment is a plus. Must know how
to assemble and debug tooling used in a manufacturing environment. Ideally,
has experience working in a multi-national company - dealing with time-zone
issues, initiating teleconference calls, etc. . .
