JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to perform both project management and product marketing / management activities for ATS (Advanced Technology Solutions) in China. The responsibility of this position is to assist the ATS Director to define strategy, manage the new product introduction cycle, achieve volume, profitability and asset utilization objectives. The incumbent will initiate, develop and coordinate:
 - Identify market trends, conduct VoC to collect customer requirement and define value proposition
 - Define product line road-map, scope, features & specifications, channel development, service & support, and long term transition plan
 - Create business plan and ensure execution by coordinating with relative functions (PM, sales, parts, service, finance, etc.)
 - Manage the new product development and introduction procedures with global ATS team, and identified local 3rd party partners
 - Work with the platform product managers to ensure integration and compatibility; support on test & validation
 - Lead market launch of identified technology products and initiate connected service; enable initial sales and dealer roll-out
 - The position will interface on a regular basis with other disciplines within the company, including Sales, Marketing, Service, Parts, DD, etc.
 
RESPONSIBILITY:
 - Scope: ATS related technology products (Fuse Technologies, Fuse Connected Service, Low Cost 3rd Party Solution)
 - Product Marketing Activities:
      1) Product life cycle considerations, monitor the product status and make an up-to-date Marketing Plan;
      2) Proper product positioning and outbound messaging to both internal and external functions;
      3) Conduct customer feedback and enabling (pre-production, market test);
      4) Initiate and execute the product Market Launch Plan for new products;
      5) Monitor market performance to budget and develop, prioritize and recommend promotion programs;
      6) Establish product specifications and ensure effective communication;
      7) Sales support for product related;
      8) Competitive intelligence, market trends, economic signals and competitive activity
 - Product Management Activities:
      1) Gather the voice of customers;
      2) Maintain up to date product knowledge;
      3) Define product requirements for both current product improvement and new product introduction;
      4) Scope and define product development at high level, determine business case and feasibility;
      5) Determine, adapt the features / specifications and identify future product requirements;
      6) Build product roadmaps, particularly technology roadmaps;
      7) Ensure products are within optimal price margins and up to specifications;
      8) Follow regular procedure for AMPIP
 - General: Assist with projects as identified; Assist with sales opportunities as requested; support subsidy process; support product promotion
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 - The incumbent should possess a good working knowledge of Sales, Marketing, Product Management related functions, and a good general understanding of both agriculture, agricultural machinery and ideally technology products.
 - The ability to work with other departments in a team environment is essential.
 - High degree of PC literacy with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Project, etc
 - Fluent English in speaking and writing
 - Business sense, creative thinking, result-oriented, problem-solving
 - The Manager must show ability to motivate people with the products of responsibility, and need to have the capacity to organize and manage.
