Responsibilities
1. Leading Plant projects:
- identify Capital projects oportunities for Growth or Sustain projects. Preparation and tracking of IPP (project justification). To control IPP project expenses. Responsible for the development of best practice manufacturing processes. The main focus on custom equipment design, build, debug and startup, but also including the specification and acquisition of vendor purchased equipment. This individual will coordinate with manufacturing plant staff, product engineers, quality and marketing groups to implement the most cost effective equipment or process according to the Gates Corporation current division strategic plan.

Essential
1. Management and communications skills to lead the projects teams. - Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts.
- Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office products
- Specific work with rubber extrusion lines, rubber curing and finishing, metals machining and forming, or small component assembly desirable.
- Strong English skills – reading, writing and interpreting technical/engineering information
2. KNOWLEDGE
? Applies advanced knowledge in field of specialization to completion of varied and complex assignments.
? Exhibits understanding of the industry and the external influences on the business.
? Typically requires several years professional experience in the area.
