SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION

The responsibility for this position includes the development, production, and delivery of information products in English, in support of Rockwell Automation software products. An Information Developer (A.K.A. Technical Writer) will be responsible for developing online Help systems, technical user manuals and guides, and any additional deliverables necessary to meet product specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

？ Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation (e.g. help files, release notes, user manuals, etc.)
？ Work effectively with project stakeholders in an Agile development environment
？ Respond with urgency to the requests for information and technical assistance
？ Communicate successfully on a geographically distributed global team

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

？ Bachelor degree (or above) in English, Technical Communication, Professional Writing, or equivalent
？ TEM 8 or equivalent
     

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

? Minimum of 2 years’ working experience
? Good technical writing and verbal communication skills in English
? Good teamwork spirit and fast learning capabilities
? Familiar with Microsoft Manual of Styles
? Familiar with content development tools, such as Author-It, Acrobat Pro, FAR, Snag-It, Microsoft Office programs, etc.
? Basic knowledge of Industrial Automation or software
? Working knowledge of computer technologies, such as HTML, and familiar with IT concepts 举报 分享
