Profile
Background and education is technical, preferably in mechanical engineering.
Experience in the procurement of technical related materials and investments and in the use of supporting administrative systems, preferably an ERP-solution.
Be fluent in English, but native speaking Chinese language.
flexible, pragmatic and hands-on approach.
Work independent but also in a team and do have excellent interpersonal skills.
Be able to see the challenge in growing with our company and to develop our procurement processes.
Tasks and responsibilities
Selecting and reviewing existing and new suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms and conditions.
Follow up of contracts and orders and inspecting the materials and investments on quality and specifications.
You will join multidisciplinary projects from your responsibility.
Follow up of market developments on availability and pricing.
Administrative monitoring and managing the outstanding order package.
Checking suppliers invoices, handle necessary discrepancies and complaints.
Maintaining contact with suppliers and the other Cordstrap group companies about the progress and process of the outstanding order package, to adjust wherever necessary.
Initiating improvement proposals to optimize the processes to improve efficiency.
You will be reporting directly to the Global Procurement Manager.
