Position Purpose:
Lead the development of supply chain strategies for customers to achieve and maintain preferred supplier status within the assigned Channels (Modern Trade, Traditional Trade and E-commerce). The incumbent will focus on driving efficient supply chain practices between the trading partners in order to drive growth and delivered profit objectives. They will lead and coordinate the activities of a High Performing team that is focused on identifying Supply Chain insights in a way that best balances the strategic needs of SCJ and its customers across APAC with team members in China, Indonesia, Australia and Thailand.
Interactions:
Work with cross-functional team of Sales, RD&E, Logistics and Planning etc. to execute projects and campaigns to achieve best sustainable financial results.
Primary Accountabilities:
Drive CSC performance and results with key customers
? Drive the development and alignment of the Supply Chain strategy via Executive engagement with SCJ and Customers’ S/C Leadership
? Partners with the Sales Management team to execute against strategic customer development opportunities
? Drive the implementation of strategic SCJ initiatives with Customers & the Channel
? Develop and deploys analytical functions and scorecards for communication to the customer and key cross-functional areas to improve supply chain compliance and effectiveness
? Management of CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment) with SCJ teams offering the service to a customer.
? Develop strong relationships with Customers through work collaboration, pro-active communications and service orientation
? Serve as a logistics and inventory management expert to our major customers, sales divisions, and related regional or national trade organizations
? Manage quality level of CFR, inventory and forecast accuracy
? Take initiative in leading key account related projects
? Provide expertise on current China E-commerce industry best practice.
Enhance CSC management and practices
? Develop CSC standardized practices
? Develop analytical practices that drives customer improvement processes
? Establish effective ways to operate by leveraging cross-functional teams within CSC and across GPS/Commercial functions
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
? Strategic thinker and integrator
? Externally focused – with an industry network.
? Able to represent Supply Chain internally and externally in a professional manner.
? Proactive and goal/results oriented
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? An assertive yet collegial and team-oriented leadership style
? Skilled in problem solving, plan development and priority setting
? Strong strategic and tactical skills and ability to employ as required
? Willingness to take a position and to persevere in the face of significant challenge
? Able to work across organizational structures
? 4-6 years in Operations/Supply Chain related fields (e.g. Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics etc.)
? E-commerce experiences a plus
? Basic computer skills in Word, intermediate in Excel, BW, SAP and Power Point
? Able to travel as required to meet customers or SCJ needs
? University degree
