Job Duties

1. Leads supplier prototype sampling, confirm machines, fixtures, tools for new production; follow up the

new products and trouble shooting.

2. Responsible for working with supplier and Quality resource together to improve supplier parts on

quality follow supplier report for failure parts and verify 8D effectiveness lead smart-line project to find

out failure parts root cause and work out corrective action together with supplier. Tracking supplier

performance and reporting.

3. Require to use of basic statistical techniques to analyze and report trends in product test results. These

results determine if current tests have customer value, improvements or deterioration in quality levels and

possible changes in test procedures or specifications.
4. Support suppliers with problem solving; continuous improvement of machining process and production

efficiency
5. New supplier's evaluation and development as one of core team members in the team;
6. Prepare and update control plan and other technical documents during new product launch and

process improvement;
7. Responsible for production support, process control and process improvement for internal assembly

and test.

8. Determines capabilities and quality standards of new and current suppliers, plans inspection methods

to be used on new purchased items and assists suppliers in resolving capability and conformance

problems.
9. Analyzes scrap and rework statistics, reviews supplier performance and contacts inspection analysts

and shop management to identify rejected material and shop problems.
10. Collate and monitor the costs of supplier quality issues
11. Review and management of supplier changes, Makes recommendations to ensure adherence to

manufacturing practices and supplier certification.
12. Supporting APQP/PPAP/PSW activities
13. Release and update components Inspection Plans for incoming inspect, based on drawing and issues.
14. Conducts studies and investigations to determine the adaptability of new techniques and equipment in

support of the NPI (New Product Introduction) program.
15. Others tasks assigned by Department Manager.



Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering field or related technical areas.
2. Minimum 4-5 years job-related working experience in mechanical manufacturing industry
3. Well versed in 8D problem solving approach and able to lead cross-functional team in solving quality

issues.
4. Competent in Quality System and Tools; ISO/TS16949, SPC, Control Plan, FMEA, MSA/Calibration,

FA, Statistics, QC tools.
5. Understands the relevance of supply chain concepts, Project management skill.
6. Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative working relationship with others and

Good English skill.
7. Ability to perform under stress and in situational conflicting work environments.
8. SAP knowledge is a plus
