Design, build, and test software solutions based on defined technical product requirements.
Work with vendors on designing, development, and validation of the software
Assist with or lead software requirement document creation. Perform requirement analysis to determine completeness and compliance with software system.
Support and perform design, development, documentation and execution of software verification and validation plans, schedules, and write reports to ensure medical device products meet published specifications and requirements and comply with Quality System Regulations.
Involve in all aspects of software development, including writing specification, design, and implementation of embedded and PC-based software per Medtronic software development procedure.
Interface with E&E and systems engineers.
Some level of travel across China will be required.

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in software design and implementation.
Strong background with Java/J2EE development, data modeling and object-oriented analysis and design, service-oriented architectures.
Strong background with other contemporary Java technologies, AngularJS/HTML5 and with relational databases, including MySQL.
Using synchronous Web services and asynchronous messaging, Java application servers, and open source JUnit and Jasper Reporting technologies.
Thorough knowledge of unit and regression testing and code reviews.
Strong background with Hibernate and Spring, including common patterns and best practices.
Healthcare experience is a strong plus.
