Job Functions
Support BD China Director in ensuring continuous identification and development of profitable growth opportunities from a product perspective - by driving tactical initiatives and projects in China in line with the Group and China 2020 strategies
Accountable for leading and managing the China Product Management Team and for contributing directly to revenue growth and bottom line profitability in China.
Major Tasks include, but not limited to:
Identify Overall VISION for China Product Portfolio.
Create product strategies and product plans for China.
Create product strategies and product plans as input for the Global Products strategies and product plans.
Create Product Concept specifications as input for Global NPI and China NPI
Monitor competitive activity.
Monitor and influence Chinese authorities on certifications and standards
Provide product-specific technical and marketing support to Sales Business units when introducing new products and in case of problem occurring at a customer’s site.
Continuously engage with customers and Sales Channels through regular visits.
Build and lead an excellent team in regards to staffing and people development.
Support BD Director to do annual business planning. This covers setting priorities, defining major projects, and coordinate marketing activities.
Support BD Director with ad hoc tasks.
Qualification and Experience
B. Sc /M. Sc.in Engineering or science required
Additional advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience working for a MNC across borders
Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Life Cycle Management
Minimum 5 years of experience with line management.
Proven record of cross-functional team leadership, passion for product management in a local and Global environment
