Specific responsibilities include:
? Supplier quality engineers (SQEs) are responsible for coordinating suppliers and verifying quality standards in accordance with product specification.
? This position is requited to performing regular supplier audits to ensure well process control, Product Specification and compliance with minimum ISO 9000 standards
? As well as, actively participating in strategic development based on quality control plans and 2nd source audit and qualification.
? Manage the supplier, serve as the liaison for suppliers, suggest structural quality and process improvements, and collaborate with business units team in China and USA.
? Additionally, supplier quality engineers identify technical problems with suppliers and implement corrective actions.
? Increase quality reliability by use engineering skills and experiences to execute tools for calibration systems (Process and Quality Control), and regulate product transition requirements.
? Also conduct capability assessments that verify supplier qualifications, travel to assigned suppliers, and lead multiple projects to completion.
? These professionals also must manage process controls, establishing schedules for reviewing supplier and quality performance.
? In addition, supplier quality engineers measure readiness throughout the product development cycle.

Job Requirements & Attributes
1. Bachelor of science or Bachelor of engineering is minimum.
2. Have solid knowledge of quality management, be familiar with ISO9000 quality system is a must, good understanding of TS16949 quality system is preferred; (Better have ISO internal auditor certification.)
3. Have solid knowledge on CM management, have strong sense of influence to leverage other team members to gain success;
4. Deep understanding on the LCD display and Touch panel manufacturing and quality control;
5. Knowledge on the plastic injection molding process and quality control, understand the SMT process and quality control and IPC-610 knowledge;
6. 8+ years working experience at least, working background with world-wide famous ODM/OEM/EMS company (like Foxconn, Flectronics, Celestica, Jabil, Samina…) is preferred.
7. Good knowledge of 6 Sigma and/or Lean methodology is preferred
8. Self-initiation for quick solution for short-term and long-term
9. Attitude to influence others, self-management, working for multiple tasks.
10. Can do attitude and open mind for discussion.
