About the job
The Polycom RealPresence platform and applications provide a unified collaboration solution for enterprise recording, webcasting and portal solution that makes the creation and delivery of higher quality videos possible. It makes works easier than ever to use existing video conferencing endpoints in new ways to reach hundreds or even thousands of viewers with live webcasts or recorded video assets.

The ideal candidate is a self-driven and highly-motivated individual who is able to cite specific examples from their career which illustrate a high capacity to rapidly absorb new technologies and a past track record of writing high-quality code.

Responsibilities

Looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will help design and create platform services that are scalable and performant.
 
? Work closely with the team (product owner, designers, and other developers) to produce the system dataflow design and extensible product platform architecture, provide guidance and direction for component and framework choices for the application
? Explore, understand, and implement most recent technologies and approaches for highly distributed, multi component backend system
? Contribute in a hands-on capacity to the design and coding efforts, work collaboratively with designers and developers to successfully deliver the product, ensure smooth running of critical services
? Create, manage, and track projects with detailed project plans
? Communicate project status, issues, and results to internal and external stakeholders
? Create excellence both in terms of results quality and system scalability through continuous evaluation, analysis, and refinement of the system implementation
? Solve complex integration issues
Requirements
? Bachelor degree or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
? 4+ years of working with scalable distributed systems and service oriented architecture in Linux environment
? In-depth understanding of fundamental algorithms, object-oriented programming and design patterns
? Proficient in C/C++/Java and scripting languages, and capable of picking them up quickly
? Excited about building and developing high throughput, low latency cloud-based services and applications
? Practical knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
? Enjoying working in a fast paced and agile development environment
? Motivated to drive tasks to completion and takes initiative to own projects
? Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive
? Fluent verbal and written English communication skills
? Experience with front-end technologies or mobile application development is a good plus 举报 分享
