【Purpose of the Position】
This position is needed to support Transportation Management System (TMS) project work, and to provide backfill support so that existing GLO resources can dedicate needed time to the TMS project.
To enable successful design and implementation of the TMS project which is estimated to save $27M over 5 years.
【Day to Day Responsibilities】
1. Support TMS implementation for Asia region
2. Act as regional support for process mapping, data collection, analyze, design, testing and training.
3. Act as backfill resources for GLO regional transportation team.
4. Collaborate with end users, global logistics team and business logistics during the implementation phase.
5. Responsible for troubleshooting for operations after project go-live.
Project involved with: Transportation Management System (TMS)
Reporting Structure: Direct reporting to Asia Regional Logistics Manager, Functional reporting to Logistics Control Tower Manager
【Education & Experience】
？ Bachelor degree. Major in business, logistics, supply chain management. MBA is an advantage.
Required Skills
？ Minimum 3 years of experiences in IT system implementation, and familiar with ERP interfaces and EDI event messages such as 315, 214.
？ Ideal candidate would have direct experience in GT Nexus implementation.
？ Candidates with logistics system implementation experiences will also be considered.
？ Experience with large SQL database administration, modern cloud platform (eg. AWS, EC2), complex Windows Server environment, Linux, shell scripting would be a plus.
？ Result-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
？ Process driven and have good business acumen.
？ Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese
？ Willing to work under pressure. Accept challenge and meet commitment and project deadline
？ Business integrity, maturity, acumen, professionalism, and teamwork spirit.
