Summery:

• Supplier Quality Engineer (Mechanical) is responsible for managing supplier Improvement and ensure Purchasing and Supplier management compliancy to FDA QSR 820 par 50 Purchasing Controls.

Your challenge:

• Cross function communication, beside to the supplier side
• Tech. background on commodity responsible for mitigate the production pressure by eliminate the quality issue from supplier

Your team:

• Over all supplier quality from new introduction to Philips to end of production to work in Supplier Quality team, which belongs to Quality & Regulatory department, Healthcare (Su Zhou), functionally report to global Supplier Quality team.
• Main KPI is the supplier quality from project kick off to end of life, need to work with cross function, i.e. Procurement, R&D, Production, and Manufacture Quality locally and globally.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead and organize supplier audit and follow up to closure
• Interface to external suppliers for quality assurance from supplier
• Lead purchased part approval activities with internal team and external suppliers
• Drive Supplier Corrective Action Requirement(SCAR) initiation till closure for external suppliers
• Support Quality Notice(QN) handling from production for external supplier issues
• Monitor and improve the quality part inside Global Supplier Rating System(GSRS) and Supplier Performance Monitor (SPM) for external suppliers
• Conduct supplier quality development in audit, Purchase Part Approval (PPA) and Supplier Quality Improvement Plan (SQIP) activities
• Lead regular quality review with priority external suppliers
• Drive the purchasing compliance in Diagnostic Imaging China

We are looking for:
· Bachelor’s Degree, Major in mechanical engineering is preferred
· 5+ year mechanical supplier quality management or equivalent background.
· Medical industry experience is preferred, Quality experience in automobile industry or Mechanical high level assembly experience is a plus.
· Certified lead auditor is a plus, i.e.as 6 sigma Green Belt, ISO 13485 lead auditor, etc.
· Sense of urgency for problem solving
· Teamwork spirit with cross function for supplier management
· Fluent in English written and oral
· Flexible for 60% travel
