Job Responsibilities
1. Develop strategies for implementation of corporate safety policies and procedures.
2. Identifies and evaluates hazardous conditions and practices and develops, in consort with the line organization, hazard control practices and programs. Assists line and staff management to understand OSHA regulations and other applicable standards, including guidance on handling compliance, inspections and citations.
3. On occasion provides support to Local Office and corporate EH&S for project transitions, establishment of initial site safety plans, and business case analyses.
4. Investigates injuries in conjunction with line and facility staff personnel. Works with line organization, local office EHS Manager and Workers’ Compensation Program Manager to manage worker's compensation cases.
5. Provides review of injury/illness reports for accuracy and completeness. Manages injury/illness information database and uses information to perform trend analyses at the account. Recognizes significant trends through statistical review and develops strategies for addressing those trends. Provides timely reporting of statistical information to account management, local office EHS and corporate EH&S.
6. Coordinates performance of safety audits and assists the account management with correcting deficiencies. Develops guidelines for audits and reporting results.
7. Develops and coordinates site-specific safety training materials and performs Safety Training. Assesses new developments and regulations in the health and safety field that may have application to the site operations.
8. Attends and will take on a lead role in regard to the Geographic Safety Team meetings for the area. Confers with local office EHS, and Corporate EH&S for feedback regarding policy and procedure.
9. Complies with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards. Performs other job-related duties as requested. 举报 分享
