岗位职责:

The key responsibilities for this software engineer are :
1. To provide IT application support to existing live sites; where incumbent will be part of a group that provides 24/7 support for manufacturing plants & supply chain;
2. To support implementation of new functionality that is being identified by the business. The project role involves being part of a wider project team to implement the MES in new plants. This role involves interaction and close coordination with local Plant IT, Engineering, Production and Quality Staff. The software engineer will focus on development work and will guide the owners of the Process Control Systems in the plant.
3. Manage the software development component of MES Manufacturing focused projects and programs in Asia Pac region.
4. Manage the custom applications developed by Birlasoft
5. Develop new projects as per business needs and improvements
6. Coordinate with other MES functional team leaders to drive standardization and regional best practices in manufacturing and supply chain IT programs, both in technology and approach.
7. Monitor the performance of the existing MES system across appropriate run metrics (availability, tech performance, etc.) and take lead in reporting regionally and globally as needed and in coordination of appropriate issue resolution.
8. Translate business requirements to MRDACS/EBD software solutions
9. Create functional designs, test scripts, and training documentation
10. Assist in estimates of implementation project activities
11. Development using product focused solution
12. Understand MRDACS/EBD design and be able to do the code development that aligns with the design
13. During Maintenance, Small Change and project work ensure all testing and validation requirements are performed

任职资格:

1. Have 5+ years experience in Development of Application Software using a variety of platforms including C#.NET, ASP.NET, WPF, WCF, Visual Basic, SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS and SSRS
2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in appropriate discipline.
3. Experience in MES application in Pharmaceutical or Food Industry
4. Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills
5. Have the ability to work independently as well as within multi-disciplinary teams;
6. Utilize outstanding time management skills;
7. Proven ability to manage software implementations across multiple, global locations, with strong ability to interact effectively within a multidisciplinary and diverse team.
8. Effective technical and problem-solving skills.
9. Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
10. Support manufacturing and supply chain leadership in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement
11. English language proficiency a must
