REQUIREMENTS
Education:
University Graduate or above preferred : Master or MBA
Job Related Experience: 8 years experience minimum
Business Understanding: 5 years in Supply Chain & Manufacturing as a key position holder
Others (e.g. language skills) :English fluent / Chinese
MISSION
(Why the position exists)
“Tailored Supply Chain” is one of the key objectives of Schneider Electric’s company program. It aims at creating a competitive advantage for our customers:
“Deliver digitized supply chain solutions tailored to our specific customer requirements”.
(What is the expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization)
Within this initiative, several key projects have been already initiated:
- Network modeling
- South China logistics flow
- ITB integration
- Support GO West strategy
- Advanced functions like Oracle Transportation Management
Tailored Supply Chain Senior manager is in charge to animate the transformation and more specifically:
1. Implement Network strategy transformation Engage the teams and BU, ensure validation and execution by year end, build the team to deploy and ensure process sustainability
Led and work with SIOP and plants to deploy Local for Local Regularly run Network Modeling to facilitate strategic decisions Extend network design to ITB and Delixi
2.Led in project management of Hoshin initiatives
Ongoing examples: Retail/eCom supply chain; Field Service Logistics Outsourcing; Freight Audit and Pay process establishment; OTM; Supply Chain types; DC Planning Model
- Deploy OTM TMS with a roadmap developed (all DC & plants) without customers impacts and within budget
Build the OTM support IPO / operations organization
3. Manage other projects
Examples: DC Move; HK Fixed BOM; FSL Dongguan integration
4. Engage in quarterly reviews with BU
5. Support Logistics VP who co-lead with (Quality VP) the Customer / experience council
Review and adjust quarterly programs and animate the taskforce
Ensure mgt engagement / understanding through key communication channel (TSC, Customer council,...). Engage and keep the momentum with all the China clusters
