POSITION SUMMARY

Purpose

The incumbent is accountable for tax invoice issuance in various location of China. Due to the stringent tax laws in China, tax invoices have to be issued locally from a dedicated system outside SAP called China Golden Tax System (CGTS). A report is sent out daily from the China Billing team in Kuala Lumpur to a local billing support team member located in various provinces in China. The main responsibility of a local billing support is to ensure tax invoices are timely issued and mailed out to customers in accordance with the data provided by the Asia Billing team.

The key role for the China Local Billing Support is that to make sure the tax invoice issuance with accuracy in time to customers in various locations in China, to maintain a good working relationship and cooperation with China Billing team, Commercial team and local FI team to deal with the matters related to China tax invoice.



Nature and Scope

This position reports to China local billing support supervisor in Shanghai, China.
                                                                                
The incumbent will be located in East, Southern or North China to meet business demands. He / She needs to work closely with China Billing team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to manually issue the tax invoices to customer timely and accurately. The position required some tax knowledge to handle some VAT invoice and business tax invoice matters with local tax bureau include invoice purchasing and limitation increasing, to deal with red invoice and void invoice etc.

He / She is responsible for scanning tax invoice and writing back invoice number to SAP on every month end. The position is accountable for monthly manual reconciliation work, which happens between Finance, China Billings and the local billing support, in order to detect errors and carry out follow up action.

All tax invoice and documentations need to be filed in good manner and comply with requirements of external and internal audit purposes.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


? Work closely with KL Billing team to ensure timely and accurate issuance of tax invoices and mailing out to customers in timely manner
? Responsible for contacting tax bureau for tax invoice purchasing, red invoice application and other invoice related jobs
? To work with the front and back end teams in SBS i.e. Asia Billing, Credit Collection, China Order Management, China Scheduling, Finance as well as other related functions to resolve billing issues and disputes
? Review and conduct month-end tax reconciliation to meet local tax requirements
? Responsible for tax invoice scanning and archive into SAP; invoice number write back
? Responsible for tax invoice filing
? Other related duties as assigned
     
                                                                                                                        
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

? College Degree or above; Preferable with Accounting major.
? At least 1 year relevant working experience.
? Possess basic knowledge of Accounting, especially on VAT regulations
? Good English skills in reading and writing
