Responsiblities:
The ABAP Analyst is responsible for SAP Development for modules that include but not limited to SD, MM, FI, CO, PP, PM, WM, QM, Workflow, Portal & RF Functionality. The role covers all aspects of Development process namely:
? Complete technical design and code reviews, and help come up with optimal and scalable technical solutions.
? Complete the development and testing of custom objects for simple to complex interfaces, data conversions, workflow, enhancements and forms.
? Keep abreast of new SAP technologies; make technical architecture roadmap recommendations as appropriate.
? Create development estimates, technical designs, and unit test plans based upon Functional Design Specifications.
? Troubleshoot and complete the necessary analysis to resolve production support issues.
? Interact and collaborate effectively with the functional team members.
Essential Software skills:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent discipline preferred.
? 4-5 years progressively responsible experience as an ABAP Developer, Software Developer, or a related position
? Successful completion of at least 2 (two) full life cycle implementations of SAP systems.
? Position requires 3-5 years prior hands on experience in ECC 6.0 or greater environment.
? 1-2 years Application programming using Java, Java Script, Open SQL, C & C++
? 1-2 years of SAP Workflow/Portal Development(Webdyn Pro) is a plus to this position.
? Candidate should have experience in the following ECC technologies: ABAP development, OO ABAP development, UI Design using screen painter, Menu Painter, UI design using ABAP WebDynpro, BSP, WebDynpro Frameworks, Interfaces (IDOC BAPI, RFC, ABAP Webservices, and LSMW), SAP Script, SmarForms, Adobe Interactive Forms
? Position requires experience and understanding of FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, PM, WM, QM modules of SAP ECC.
? Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies.
? Good Understanding of Object Oriented Concepts, OS (Unix/Linux) etc
? Knowledge of RF Connectivity and solutions
