Roles and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for making, tracking and maintaining project plans.
Be responsible for human resource management, including workload evaluation, expenses management and team building, within the project team.
Ensure organisational systems, tools, processes and standards are followed and adhered to.
Seek continuous improvement in the processes, methods and standards applied to each consulting assignment.
Translate, communicate and reinforce the goals, values and priorities of the organisation.
Pro-active investigation of possible business solutions to meet identified and as yet unidentified clients needs.
Know the client, both internal and external, and delivers professional, personalised service based on that knowledge. Ferment client relations.
Contact regularly with the team members to discuss schedule, status and issues on current projects, and provide status, prioritisation and possible issues resolutions.
Recognise business development opportunities and escalate to the Professional Services Director.
Close liaison with other SunGard offices, especially with regards to the development cycle and client initiatives.
Ability to work under pressure, both in terms of deliverable deadlines, but also in communication with clients under difficult situations. A calm and professional manner at all times is an essential requirement.
Assist with some project scoping as part of pre-sales activities.
Make sure the projects will move forward orderly and steadily, and periodically report the project progress to the relevant staffs within the client Requirements

Essential Experience Required;
Understands Software Package Implementation process, 5+ years experience

Sound knowledge of Accounting practises
Knowledge of financial instruments (FX, MM, IRS, FRA, Bonds etc.)desired, Hedge Accounting a plus
Industry and product knowledge
Ability to build, maintain strong client relationships.


Desirable Experience Required;
Experienced in understanding current consulting and project management practices.
Has a good knowledge and understanding of operational and business processes
Awareness and appreciation of markets and clients within the region


Skills:

Essential Skills Required;

Excellent communication, good command of English.

Desirable Skills Required;
Flexible to travel throughout east and south of China

Qualifications:

Solid understanding and experience of Corporate Treasury, 10+ years experience
Experience in IT projects for Chinese Insurance company is required. At least 5 years.
