职位描述
Elong is looking for a talented and experienced Web Analyst who can contribute to the success of our website analytics initiatives.This position will work closely with multiple Elong business stakeholders, development teams and web content team to help integrate a third-party site analytics solution with the technology/web analytics datawarehouse platform and business processes of the world's largest online seller of travel.Experience in online analytics, deep project management skills, and demonstrated organizational effectiveness skills will all contribute to success in fulfilling the duties of this position.
Responsibilities:
As a web analyst, this role will manage and support web analytics platform, work with various Elong business units to understand web analytics/KPI measurement requirements and partner with implementation managers to find tracking solution for web sites.
Liaison between global marketing/retail professionals to gather detailed functional requirements and collaborate with technical managers, engineers to identify and rank new feature requests for integration in subsequent versions of the site analytics solution.
Maintain global consistency & best practices in data collection standards in state of the art analytical tools & enterprise datawarehouse solution. Periodic data validation on data collection variables and collaborate with technical team to make tagging changes. This individual will make sure our analytic tools meet internal customers' needs while satisfying scalability, reliability and other performance requirements.
Receive, prioritize and resolve queries and request for web analytics data support that aligns with online business objectives. Democratize data set available in analytical tools and datawarehouse repository to global marketing, merchandising and product development groups.
Partner with business analysis team for data requirements and manage expectations in data & reporting delivery.Integrate 3rd party products(such as omniture) for analytics & tracking.
Evangelize the system across the organization to accelerate implementation and integration into managing our businesses.
Assist managers and analysts throughout the company to understand the power and managerial value of web analytics data and provide them with insight about implications of the data for various business initiatives and their contribution to the strategic goals of the organization.
Responsible for supporting development of enterprise data warehouse that collects web traffic and marketing campaign data, management dashboards, website behavior analysis, data consolidation, and validation.
Analyze online and offline marketing campaigns (search engines, email, and direct traffic), on site-promotions, business unit financial performance, site functionality analysis, conversion funnel analysis, search analysis and product clickstream analytics, product mix in addition to working with affiliate team.
Streamline management reports that best characterize booking paths and traffic flows; identify actionable differences across our product lines and business units; and evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and merchandising promotions.
Work closely with third party technology partners as needed to improve the usability and efficiency of data collection on traffic, shopping and purchasing behaviors across Elong's global brand websites.
Provide one-to-one training and trouble-shooting within the organization and provide continuous support as the system is evolving with changes in Elong's and the vendor's technology platforms.Organize basic and advanced training for new and existing users.
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of experience working in an e-commerce environment at the intersection of site analytics.
- Experience with click-stream tools such as Omniture, WebTrends, Click Tracks, HBX, CoreMetrics, and Visual Sciences.
- Strong ability to define and deliver site analytic needs from business case through tracking execution.
- Applied knowledge of SEM (Search Engine Marketing), PPC (Pay Per Click), SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Email marketing.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally to manage tracking requirements in state of the art analytics tool as well as resolve operational issues.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge of site analytic technologies required.
- Competency with project management including: issue and risk identification and management, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communication of overall project status.
- Demonstrated analysis and innovative problem solving skills using a structured thinking approach.
- Must be flexible and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An MS/BS degree in a technical field or related discipline preferred
