Job Title: Plant Director 厂长
Report to: COO (Expat)
Number of subordinates: 8 as Dept Mgr
Job Summary:
? To achieve the business goals established for the plant by Management, respecting the budget and Business Plans annually approved.
2. GENERAL FUNCTIONS*:
? To manage the good working of all the activities which are carried out in the plant in order to reach the objectives defined each year.
? To ensure the correct application and fulfillment of the corporate policies related to administration, management control, human resources, health and safety, environment, etc.
? To implement and manage the manufacturing plans according to the objectives established.
? To study the plant necessities and suggest the necessary extensions or ask for investments in order to reach the optimum performance of the centre.
? To manage, develop and motivate the plant team.
? To guarantee and improve the quality standards and the service to the customers.
? To look for the continuous improvement of the manufacturing and plant management processes.
? To monitor that Labor Health and Safety are implemented and controlled, and that enough resources are provided for its correct performance.
? To develop, propose and follow-up the annual economic budget and plant Business Plan (including the Labor Health and Safety necessary investments).
? To lead and ensure the new products and projects launching.
? To report periodically to its hierarchical superior, Regional or Country Manager, about the evolution of the main plant indicators.
? To represent the company in front of official organizations or in local forums where it is demanded or it is interesting for the Group to have presence.
? Management delegates to the Plant Manager, explicitly, the responsibilities of management,
monitoring and election OSH in the production plants.
3. MINIMUM TRAINING REQUIRED OR LEVEL OF EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:
Academic background:
Universitary degree in Engineering or similar.
4. JOB POSITION COMPETENCIES:
Manufacturing, Finances and Management Control. Basic training in health and safety, and environmental management.
