Risk management covers many areas including security and privacy, reputation and control. Our professionals help clients across many industries flag, analyze, evaluate and manage strategic and operational risks while discovering opportunities to create value. Financial Services Industry team offers the structured enterprise risk management solutions to our clients under the regulation requests of China's financial regulatory authorities, associating our professional analytical skills with our understanding of the clients and the market. Nowadays the team mainly focuses on the service to global financial industry, including banks, securities, insurance, investment sectors and so on.

Carry out allocated tasks in financial market pricing, IMA implementation, model validation, valuation and Basel II/Basel III area

- Identify, assess and resolve issues/problems

- Develop and build market risk management solutions, assets to enhance market risk consulting capabilities

- Be able to perform project administration/management tasks including developing detailed work plans, manage status, etc

- Interact with client frequently around specific work efforts/deliverables

- Prioritize and oversee activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards

- Draft reports for manager review, ensure compliance with Deloitte policies and quality/performance standards

- Responsible for reviewing the work of the subordinates and ensuring the professional standard of service to clients is maintained

- Assist our practice in business development work, such as proposal preparation and part of the team for bidding of global / regional opportunities.

Qualification:

• Bachelor degree or above in financial, accounting or related disciplines

• Strong in banking risk management knowledge and practical management experience

• Excellent knowledge of market risk management business processes

• Certification of CFA, FRM certificate is preferred but not mandatory

• Above 3 years' experience in consulting, corporate finance, audit or related industry sectors

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high commitment to quality client service

• Good consultation and communication skills, self-initiation, good team player and willingness to work under pressure

• Mature, proactive and committed

• Outgoing character. Strong sense in business development is required. Proven track record in business development activities is a definite advantage

• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is mandatory

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Chinese word processing

• Willing to travel
