The General Manager has ultimate responsibility for the overall satisfaction and achievement of the company’s goals. The GM is responsible for short and long term planning and the entire company operations. His/her scope of responsibilities covers the financial results (revenues, cost of sales, payroll & related expenses, other expenses, departmental incomes, gross operating income (if notified), cash flow, new & replacement investments), adherence to standards of product and service, management of human resources, and Export Sales & Marketing strategy.

Responsibilities
1. Export Sales&Marketing Management
？ Responsible for all the activities of export including the development of policies and procedures to ensure the successful, on-schedule merchandises in compliance with regulations; Provide advice, direction and aid in export assignments, related interaction and negotiation; Manage and train export staff.
？ Develop and manage the implementation of all export policies and procedures with conformity to stipulations of regulatory setups.
？ Conducting Asia Pacific market analysis, supporting Asia Pacific showroom and launch plan.
？ Keep close relationship with overseas distributors: quotation, order processing and complaint etc.
？ Advise on problem solving methods in relation to distributors and customers complaints.
？ Coordinating with internal departments: purchasing, production, quality and logistic.
？ Oversee, review and manage all export records and reports.
？ Develop and manage department budget.

2．Plant Operation Management
？ Responsible for the establishment and profitable long term growth of manufacturing operations in Jiashan
？ Timely and efficient production of world’s class products, strictly adhering to our highest quality standards.
？ Timely and efficient production and distribution of high-quality products at the least cost.
？ Recruitment, development, management and coaching of the Shanghai Bedding production team.
？ People – ensure that the Jiashan production team achieves the best possible results in the following areas:
？ Labour Productivity – as measured by $/piece
？ Quality – as measured by internal and customer audits
？ Logistics- timely and accurate delivery as measured by customer feedback
？ Materials – ensuring the best possible performance in production
？ Minimising finished goods returned for company caused defects, as measured year on year; and
？ Inventory Surplus - minimise wastage & theft– as measured year on year.
？ Equipment – ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest possible standard for the lowest possible cost.
？ Systems – ensuring the highest possible internal audit scores as measured year on year.

Requirements

？ Bachelor degree in relevant discipline with at least 8-10 years successful manufacturing management experience in multinational company;
？ Export experience will be a plus;
？ Planning and analytical skills are required;
？ Strong communication and problem solving skill;
？ Fluent English both speaking and writing;
？ Good skills of communication and negotiation.
